What Happened To That Solana Token? Every Token We Track Now Has a Permanent Record

Why these pages didn't exist until now

They did exist — for about 48 hours each.

A token page used to disappear once the token was two days old, unless it had doubled. The reasoning was that stale pages should quietly fall out of search. In practice it deleted the archive: 26,411 of our 34,307 token pages were returning "not found" while the full history sat in the database. Roughly a third of the pages search engines tried to crawl were gone by the time they arrived.

The record is more useful than the silence. So the pages stay now.

What's on a page for a token that's over

Each one opens with the state we measured, in plain English rather than a score:

• What it did. The market cap when it first hit our system, the peak it reached after that, and the multiple between them.
• How far it fell. Current market cap and the percentage off peak.
• What the scanner concluded. Holder concentration, bundle findings, dev wallet history, and whether our liveness checks have marked it dead.

A page for a finished token says so at the top: this is kept as a record of what happened, not as a suggestion to buy. No dead token gets dressed up as an opportunity.

The part that's worth money

Here is the pattern worth internalising, measured across the tokens we track:

A token sitting 90% or more below its peak reached another 2x about 5 times in every 100. A token still within 40% of its peak did it about 37 times in every 100.

That's a seven-fold difference, and it's available before you buy — it's just the drawdown number. The instinct that a coin down 95% is "cheap" is the single most expensive instinct in this market. It is not cheap. It is finished, and the people telling you it's about to bounce are usually the ones who need an exit.

Reading the drawdown on the page takes five seconds. It is the highest-value five seconds available to you.

Three ways to actually use this

Before you buy anything someone shows you. Paste the address. If the page shows a token 90% off its peak and a scanner status of dead, you've learned everything you need and it cost you nothing but the paste.

Before you believe a track record. When someone posts their winning call, look up what the token did after the screenshot. Our pages show peak and current side by side, so a 40x call that round-tripped to below entry reads exactly like that.

On the tokens you already hold. Check the drawdown honestly. If you're 90% down and waiting for the bounce, the numbers say the bounce is a 1-in-20 event, and the money is better used somewhere it can still move.

What this doesn't tell you

It doesn't predict anything. A page is a record of what has already happened to a token, and the fact that a coin held its value tells you it hasn't collapsed yet — not that it won't.

It also won't judge a token nobody has tracked. If a contract has never entered our system, there's no page, and that absence is information too: nothing we watch has picked it up.
