Range Finder
Tokens trading sideways in a tight market-cap range for a prolonged stretch. Pick a band, a minimum time in range, and what has to be behind it — filter down to projects with a real site, real docs and real fees, and you get the ones worth waiting on rather than every flat chart on the chain. Checked every 30 minutes.
A flat chart on its own is neutral, and we measured which parts actually pay. The edge is in the break, not the wait: a coil that clears its range high reached 2x 35% of the time over the following week, against 12% for a token picked at random. Two things people expect to matter did not. Armed — rising lows with contracting volume — is the weakest of the four shapes, not the strongest. And a tighter range is worse, not better: the tight ones are mostly tokenized stocks, which sit still for a living. Recent breakouts and their outcomes are tracked at the bottom. Cross-check volume on the trending board.
Sorted by whatever column you pick. Armed rows are no longer pinned to the top: measured over 7 days, armed is the weakest of the four shapes here, and entering one is no better than entering any coil.
