PocketChange — keep a slice of every trade

PocketChange is a free product from PumpPill. It takes a share of every winning trade, or rounds every trade up and keeps the change, and holds it in a contract on Robinhood Chain until a date you choose.

What it does not do

It pays no rate, no rewards and no growth — what goes in is what comes out, in ETH. Nothing is staked, lent, pooled or put to work. It costs nothing to start, to hold, or to take out. The contract has no owner, no admin, no pause switch and no upgrade path, so PumpPill cannot move anyone's balance and cannot add a way to later.

Getting your money back

Anything that has reached its date comes out instantly. Everything else comes out 24 hours after you ask, in full, with no penalty and nothing held back. The wait is the only thing the lock does.

Where to use it

PocketChange · a free product from PumpPill

You're going to trade anyway. Keep some of it.

PocketChange takes a slice of a trade and holds it until a date you picked. A share of every win, the change from every trade, or both. It goes into a contract on Robinhood Chain that PumpPill has no key to.

How it works

  1. 01

    Pick a rule

A share of every winning sell, the change from every trade rounded up, or both. The round-up is the steady one; the slice only fires when you are up. Whatever they add up to, one trade never gives up more than the ceiling you set.

  2. 02

Trade the way you already do

Nothing about your trading changes. When a trade produces something, it goes into the box on its own, and when it produces nothing the bot tells you why rather than saying nothing.

  3. 03

It locks until the date you picked

Every bit is held until the day you chose when it went in. Changing the lock length later only affects what goes in from then on — nothing already set aside moves, in either direction.

  4. 04

    Take it back

Anything that has reached its date comes out instantly. Everything else comes out 24 hours after you ask — the full amount, no penalty, nothing held back. The wait is the only thing the lock actually does.

What it doesn't do

The part worth reading twice.

It doesn't pay you anything

No rate, no rewards, no growth. What you put in is what comes out, in ETH. If ETH moves, that moves with it — the same as it would sitting in your wallet. Anyone offering you a return on money like this owes you a much longer explanation than this page.

It doesn't lend your money out

Nothing is staked, pooled, routed, or put to work. It sits in the contract until you take it out. You can watch the balance on the explorer.

PumpPill can't touch it

The contract has no owner, no admin, no pause switch and no upgrade path. There is no function in it that lets us move anyone's balance, and no way to add one later. We wrote it and we maintain it; we cannot open it.

It doesn't cost anything

Nothing to start, nothing to hold it, nothing to take it out. If your wallet cannot cover the network fee on a withdrawal, we send the fee rather than taking it out of your balance.

It doesn't trap you

A lock nobody can escape eventually refuses somebody their own money in an emergency. Ask, wait a day, take all of it. That is the whole mechanism, and it costs you nothing.

It isn't for everyone

If you need every bit of what you have to trade with, this will get in your way. It is for the part you would not have missed.

Who owns this

PocketChange is built, published and maintained by PumpPill, and it is free to use. PumpPill answers for it when something breaks.

PumpPill also cannot open it, and those two facts belong next to each other. A box like this is worth nothing if nobody is on the hook for it, and worth less than nothing if that somebody holds a key. So our name is on it and the access is not.

Source is verified on the explorer. Your balance is public: look up your own address and the contract will tell you what it is holding for you, whatever this site happens to say.

Where it lives

Inside PumpPill's trading bot on Robinhood Chain. Send /piggy to @PumpPill_Trade_Bot and it will show you the rules before anything is switched on. Nothing is ever turned on for you — not by a default, not by trading, not by us.

PocketChange is not a bank, a broker or a financial product, and nothing here is advice. It holds ETH on Robinhood Chain until a date you choose and hands it back. Crypto can lose value; what you set aside can be worth less when you take it out than when it went in.
